A hand-fabricated three-dimensional evergreen stands tall in a hammer-textured sterling silver shrine. The inner archway frame of the piece features a 24k gold accent, created using an ancient process called Keum Boo. The light bounces off the gold and dances with a dark patina to highlight the fine details of the evergreen tree. Subtle texturing on the outside of the archway serves to bring another element of contrast to the piece. The tree is created from multiple pieces of hand-cut sterling silver that were meticulously layered and textured to give the tree a life-like feel.
