Prairie's Edge- Brass, Fine Silver and Gold Bison Pendant
The Prairie's Edge pendant is the second installment of the new animal portrait series that features layered three dimensional portraits of wildlife. This scene depicts a wild bison roaming the prairie with Wyoming's Grand Tetons in the distance. All the pendants in this series will be one off designs, so each is entirely unique and will not be replicated.
Hand drawn, and cut with a handheld jewelers saw the bison is made with layers of brass and fine silver, with silver being the majority of metal used. To finish the piece gold leaf details are added with an ancient Korean technique called Keum Boo. This captivating and unique bison portrait is completely hand made, with loving attention to detail. A mesmerizing wearable art piece perfect for those who yearn for vast open spaces and cherish the grandeur of nature.
The pendant measures 2" in diameter 3/8" deep.
